Today was the last swimming lesson of the session and we were shocked when the teacher said Cassidy is ready to move up to Minnows. This was her first session as a Guppy and we missed half of the classes. Looks like Cassidy is turning into quite a swimmer! Go Cassidy!
Once we'd eaten lunch, it was finally time to put on our fancy clothes and head to the Teddy Bear Tea. Campbell wore a beautiful burgundy floor-length dress, and Cassidy wore a new champagne-colored floor-length dress with a burgundy sash.
We got non-stop compliments on the girlz dresses and that made my heart smile. The hostess even said she had chosen champagne and black for her wedding colors, but mentally added burgundy as soon as she laid eyes on the girlz.
That was really nice.
The girlz were SO EXCITED to have Gramma all to themselves for a few hours!
Cassidy had the Elves paint a crown on her hand...
... and Campbell had a Grinch painted on her arm.
It was an absolutely wonderful afternoon. The buffet was just as meticulously decorated as always, and the table legs were set low for the children. It's clear the children are front and center when planning every detail. I truly appreciate their efforts, and I know the girlz will treasure these memories when they get older.
I can't believe Christmas is one week away!
