I Want Some Puh-Puh-Puh Cereal

Campbell's class is busy learning letter sounds.  She recognizes all of the letters, and has moved on to learning the sounds they make.  Ms. B and Ms. S spend lots of classroom time saying things like Puh-Puh-Puh PIG, and Buh-Buh-Buh BAT.

Campbell takes it all in, but it doesn't come back out quite the same.  We're treated to a daily dose of funny when she asks for a bowl of Puh-Puh-Puh CEREAL.  Or to go outside and ride on her Tuh-Tuh-Tuh SCOOTER.

It's precious.  And absolutely hilarious.

She's been able to verbally spell her name for quite some time, and she's now learning how to write it.  In their time together on the bus, Betsy taught her how to write CAT.  Check out the CAT in the picture below - she wrote this for Betsy on the whiteboard at church just before the last basketball game.

She does great with CAT, and is still working on CAMPBELL.  I'm hoping she'll write a CAMPBELL clear enough for me to post in the next few days.

I had completely forgotten how much fun it is to watch children learn to write.

Go Muh-Muh-Muh CAMPBELL!
