Fancy hats for Family Fun Day #1
We started the morning at a local inflatable playground. Campbell took a while to warm up to the bounce houses - she's never been much of a fan. She's making progress, and actually got on the bounce entrances this time around. Maybe one of these days she'll actually get in one, bounce, and climb. You have to start somewhere!

Cassidy had a blast, of course!
Next stop was boot shopping for the girlz. Once we had chosen and paid for our boots, we headed for mini golf.
We went to the Picadilly for lunch, and a wonderful thing happened. As we walked through the line, Cassidy spotted the fruits, puddings and Jello. We let her choose and I was holding my breath waiting to see what she would pick... and out of all the choices she had, she picked the green Jello.
My girl, eating green Jello at the Picadilly. It's amazing how something so trivial can make you feel so certain your angel is right there - maybe she was sitting right beside me? Or maybe she was standing in the aisle? She was there, that much I know.
We love the Picadilly!
After a somewhat quiet afternoon, we cleaned up the girlz and headed to Big Girl School for Orientation Night.

In the years past, we've let Campbell stay with Mama and Papa on Orientation Night in an effort to ensure Cassidy was allowed all the time she needed to check things out and get acclimated. Since this is Campbell's first year, we decided the first stop would be Cassidy's classroom. This would let us spend the bulk of our time in Campbell's room.

Tomorrow is Family Fun Day #2, followed by the first day of school. We're so close!!
