Mommy and Campbell Time

The dance studio scheduled a production practice for anyone who was not in school yesterday. Our school was closed (yay!) so Cassidy spent most of the day dancing. Lieutenant Sexy had agreed to spend the day building and painting dance props, which left me and Campbell on our own.

Hmmmm... what to do?

One of Campbell's friends had given her a gift card to Build A Bear for her last birthday. What better day to add a new stuffed friend into our family?

So after dropping Cassidy off, we headed to Build A Bear!

It didn't take long for Campbell to choose her new friend. She loves My Little Pony, and Pinkie Pie is her absolute favorite. It was a no brainer!

Stuffing Pinkie Pie

Giving Pinkie Pie a bath

Pinkie Pie properly stuffed, dressed, and safely tucked into her box. SUCCESS!!

While we were out, so we stopped in at Justice to see what we could find. We ended up finding 4 summer dresses, 2 for each girl. My receipt says I spent $45 and saved $141, thanks to Justice's inflated prices and weird markdown process.

Either way, $45 is a reasonable total for 4 dresses regardless how it got there.

On the way home, Campbell asked if we could stop for frozen yogurt. How could I say no? My girl LOVES her yogurt!

It was so nice to spend some quality one-on-one time with my girl. I just love that little nugget!
