My Girlz Curlz

We got Campbell's hair cut today.  Her curls were gorgeous, but they had an awful way of knotting up.  We've gone through bottles and bottles of detangler and she still fusses when we brush her hair.  Sadly, it was time to do something to give the poor girl some relief.


I was nervous the curls would completely disappear... but as luck would have it, they didn't.  The ringlets are pretty much gone, but the ends still curl.


The real test will be when we show up at church tomorrow.  I'll keep a running tally of how many dismayed comments and disappointed looks we get and report back with a true verdict.  Did we do the right thing?  Or did we ruin her signature look?


I wanted to donate those curls, but her hair wasn't nearly long enough.  Instead, we left a beautiful pile of curls on the floor of the salon (minus one, which I have safely tucked away).  Even without the ringlets, she looks just like herself.
